In its second year, SoundPost Bridge extended its production coverage to additional AMS and accounting systems, running as a multi-platform product at associations.  SoundPost also introduced its first AI feature, [SoundPost Copilot.](https://soundpost.ai/copilot) ## Notable Milestones #### SoundPost Bridge in Production For more than a year, SoundPost Bridge has run the [Sage Intacct](https://www.sage.com/en-us/industry/nonprofit/) accounting integration for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), processing monthly closes. That integration carries transactions from [Wicket](https://wicket.io) (WooCommerce) and [PheedLoop](https://pheedloop.com/). During the year, SoundPost Bridge went into production at additional associations.  Those associations use revenue systems such as [Aptify](https://www.aptify.com/) and [GrowthZone MemberSuite](https://www.growthzone.com/), and accounting systems such as [QuickBooks Online](https://quickbooks.intuit.com/), QuickBooks Desktop, and [Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-365/products/business-central). QuickBooks Online went into production with a Canadian association, which also brought Canadian sales tax handling into SoundPost Bridge. Associations that have chosen SoundPost include ASAE, the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association, the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE), the Microscopy Society of America, and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. #### Carrying a Client Through an AMS Migration One association using SoundPost Bridge replaced its AMS partway through its fiscal year.  SoundPost connected the accounting integration to the new AMS, and journal entries and reconciliation continued without interruption through the transition.  Deferred revenue schedules established under the previous AMS continued to recognize revenue on their original terms. In this case, the accounting integration outlived the AMS, and the finance team did not have to rebuild its close process alongside the new system. #### New Accounting Capabilities in SoundPost Bridge SoundPost Bridge also expanded its accounting capabilities during the year. Support for more complex allocation rules gives finance teams finer control over how revenue is distributed across accounts and dimensions, and the sponsorship module now supports additional program benefit configurations.  Deferred dues reporting now shows balances by product, and GL mapping and product accounting dashboards show how each product maps to the general ledger. Bulk operations in the accounting editor let staff apply changes, such as adjustments, across many accounting entries at once.  A dedicated support desk gives clients a single channel for questions and requests. #### SoundPost Copilot On September 30, SoundPost released SoundPost Copilot to production.  SoundPost Copilot is an AI assistant embedded in SoundPost Bridge that answers questions about an association's financial data in plain language, including why a figure changed from one period to the next, drawing on the transaction and accounting data SoundPost Bridge already processes.  It is offered as an add-on to SoundPost Bridge, and it gives finance staff, as well as colleagues in membership and events, direct access to answers without routing every question through the accounting team.   #### Sage Intacct Marketplace Listing A year ago, SoundPost Bridge was preparing for Sage's technical review.   In the first quarter of 2026, [SoundPost Bridge was approved](https://soundpost.ai/blog/soundpost-and-sage-strengthening-association-accounting-together) and listed on the [Sage Intacct Marketplace](https://marketplace.intacct.com/MPListing?lid=a2DQm00000esMkaMAE).  The listing now brings inbound interest from associations, consultants, and accounting firms. #### Client Engagement Highlights Alongside SoundPost Bridge, SoundPost continued to support association finance teams directly.  Highlights include: - Serving as fractional revenue controller for a professional society's finance team through its AMS migration, managing monthly revenue reconciliation and supporting the year-end audit of revenue, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue. - Providing accounting support for a national association's 90-day AMS stabilization. - Delivering AMS accounting support for a state professional society's new system implementation. SoundPost exhibited at ASAE Annual 2026 in Indianapolis (August 15 to 18) and at the CSAE Conference in St. John's, Newfoundland (October 27 to 30), SoundPost's first Canadian conference. Association management companies and accounting firms began approaching SoundPost about deploying SoundPost Bridge across multiple client associations, and SoundPost is now scoping those deployments. ## What Comes Next SoundPost's third year will advance in three directions. **SoundPost agents for the finance office.** SoundPost is extending its AI features from answering questions through SoundPost Copilot to performing routine accounting tasks through SoundPost agents. SoundPost is inviting associations to participate in pilot engagements, each focused on a specific task, with early adopters shaping the agents' capabilities.  [What Would You Like to Automate?
